The Pureland Foundation supports The Choir of the London Oratory

The Pureland Foundation has announced its support for The Choir of the London Oratory.

The Choir of the London Oratory is the UK’s senior professional Catholic church choir and sings for all the major ceremonial moments at the Oratory. Comprising some of London’s leading ensemble singers, the choir is internationally renowned.

The Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, better known as Brompton Oratory, is home to the Congregation of the Oratory of St Philip Neri in London, a community of priests living under the rule of life established by its founder in the sixteenth century. The Oratory also serves as a parish church in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Westminster.

Bruno Wang said: “Not only producing angelic sounds that delight the ears and lift the soul – choral singing has recently been proved to boost the immune system, cut stress and improve mood.  It gives me great pleasure to support such talented singers and help keep the melodies of the past alive in the wonderful surroundings of the London Oratory.”

The Pureland Foundation was established by Bruno Wang to realise his charitable objectives. The Foundation supports spiritual, physical, emotional and social wellness through art and music.

Bruno Wang is a London-based Chinese businessman, philanthropist and cultural patron.
